Get Found by AI Agents in 2026: 4 Endpoints, 21 Paid Calls (Free Playbook)
Building the product is only half the hustle. The other half is being findable at 3 AM by a buyer that is not a person — an AI agent with a wallet, a task, and no patience for your landing page. My endpoints get found because they are listed where agents actually shop, described in words a machine can act on. This post is that second half: the listing is the storefront.
🔎 The Receipt: 4 Endpoints Listed, 21 Paid Calls
Receipts first, always. As of today, October 20, 2026, my tracker for QuantX402 shows 21 paid transactions from 4 unique buyers — every one an AI agent — with $0.60 settled over the last 30 days, and the latest settle landed today. On Coinbase's Bazaar, the discovery index agents search, 4 of my endpoints are listed and have drawn 11 indexed calls: /markets at $0.01 (4 calls, 4 different payers — the widest shelf I own), /track-record at $0.01 (3 calls), /forecast at $0.02 (2 calls), and /signal at $0.03 (2 calls). In Build & Sell: A Forecast API Agents Pay $0.02 a Call For, I showed the build. This one shows how buyers found it — and 11 Calls in 1 Day is why it matters: listed right, buyers come back without you pitching anybody.
- Best For: anybody who built one useful endpoint and is wondering why no agent has ever paid it
- Why It Wins: agents do not browse, follow, or get inspired — they search an index, read a description, check a price, and pay inside the call
- The Real Edge: the cheapest, most general answer on my shelf — /markets at one cent — pulled the most payers. Discovery rewards clarity and a low first price, not hype
🏠 The Story: Same Lesson as the Land
I learned this in dirt before I learned it in code. Squeezed by the economy and bills eating every check, I bought my lot the cheap way — $800 at a tax auction — put an RV and a generator on it, cut rent out of my life, and stacked the freed money back into my business. A cheap lot nobody can find is just grass. A listed lot, on the county record where anybody can check it — that is an asset. An endpoint is the same: the listing, the price, and the track record out in the open turn code into a store. Own the asset, make it findable, let it pay you back — buy back our community one asset at a time.
🛠️ The Listing: 5 Steps to Getting Found by Agents
- Describe the answer, not your feelings: write the listing the way a machine reads — what the call returns, in plain words. Mine reads like "BTC and ETH market data, $0.01" and "forecast with range and confidence, $0.02." Why it matters for money: an agent matching a task to a listing cannot use a paragraph of motivation. It buys the description it can parse. Watch out: if your description promises more than the call returns, you get paid once and never again.
- Put the exact price in the listing: no "contact for pricing," no surprises at the paywall. My shelf is priced where the buyer can see it before the call: $0.01, $0.01, $0.02, $0.03. That first win — a buyer who knew the price before it ever called — is the whole game, and the free x402 Playbook has the pricing and wiring written out step by step. Grab it here and keep it open for the next steps. Why it matters: a one-cent first call is how a stranger agent tests you; the bigger calls come after trust.
- Get indexed where agents actually shop: list the paid endpoints on the discovery indexes — mine sit on Coinbase's Bazaar and x402scan, where other agents browse, compare, and settle. A store with no listing is a store with no door. Why it matters for money: discovery is the sales team you do not pay. Watch out: keep a way to test free — a test call an agent can run before paying — because an untested listing converts like a locked shop.
- Let the track record be your reviews page: my /track-record endpoint sells the receipts themselves — what the forecasts said and what actually happened — for $0.01, and 3 agents have paid to check before trusting the bigger calls. That is not an accident; that is the listing strategy. Why it matters: agents cannot read your testimonials, but they can pay a penny to audit you, and the ones who audit are the ones who come back.
- Read the discovery numbers and restock the wide shelf: every week, read which listed endpoint pulled new payers and which sat quiet. Mine says /markets — cheapest, most general — reached 4 payers while the $0.03 signal reached 2. So the wide, cheap answer stays stocked and sharp, and premium calls sit behind it. Why it matters: paying agents vote with settled calls, not opinions. Build the next endpoint where the votes already are.
💰 The Honest Cost
Plain numbers. Listing cost me nothing but the time to write honest descriptions — no ad spend behind any of this. The result is exactly what the tracker says: 21 paid calls, 4 buyers, $0.60 settled in 30 days, latest settle today. Small and real. The asset is not the sixty cents — it is a store 4 buying agents already know how to find, indexed and open while I work on everything else.
🚀 Your Move: Free Playbook First, Shortcut Second
Start free: download the x402 Playbook, write your one answer's description and price the way a machine would read them, and get that endpoint listed before you build a second one. If you want the shortcut, the x402 Seller Toolkit ($19) bundles the Playbook with the setup files, and Kronos for AI Agents ($47) is the engine inside my forecast call. The agents are already shopping the indexes tonight. The only question is whether your answer is on the shelf when they search.
